DAVID BECKHAM: "I've loved it here, the fans have been unbelievable, the owners have been unbelievable . . . David Beckham loves living in LA, and he's staying there! The soccer star was offered a contract with French club Paris St Germain after his five-year agreement with the Los Angeles Galaxy ended in November, sparking rumors that David, Victoria, and the kids would be packing their bags for Paris. But it sounds like the family did some decision-making over the holiday break, choosing to keep their roots in California for the time being. DAVID BECKHAM: At the end of the day, I need to decide what's best for me, what's best for the team, and my family . . ." The Paris St Germain president announced today that the deal was off, saying: "David Beckham is not coming. We feel a little disappointed. But both sides agreed it would be better that we not do the deal . . . maybe in the future." David's most recent season with the Galaxy was one of his best yet, as he led the team to a MLS Cup win. That may have been one of the reasons behind the family's decision, but the Beckhams have also made several Hollywood friendships since first moving to LA in 2007 like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and Eva Longoria, so it isn't that surprising that they're staying in the states.
